Chicago Police Heavy Wool Winter Uniform Coat
Dark blue wool coat for wear over the standard uniform. This particular coat was made in 1954 but since this style of coat has not changed and officers wear it today, I removed the police patch to abide by eBay's policy. It is in excellent condition. I do not see any holes or tears. One inside pocket is ripped a little at the end The label is inside the pocket and I could not get a picture of it. It shows the date and the original onwer's name and star number. It doesn't have a size label and I have to guess that it is a size 36 or maybe 38. It has standard plastic buttons instead of the Chicago City buttons. It is a 3/4 length coat. The star patch on the sleeve indicates the last wearer had at least 20 years in as a Chicago Police Officer.

I describe the item to the best of my ability and am honest and fair however I am not an expert of this item being auctioned/sold so all verbiage, title and description of the object listed is my opinion as a layman.
