This is an original issue of the Chicago SEED radical - alternative - underground paper, Vol. 2, No. 1 from January - February, 1968. This issue chronicles the founding of The YIP (Youth International Party), explores the plans to establish the Electric Theater, and counsels how to approach and treat cops, and much more. The issue of course also includes psychedelic art work, poetry, and great ads for rock concerts, albums, occult bookshops and event and scene calendars. The paper is 20 page. It has an issue wide fold characteristic of a mailed copy. This copy is in good condition having age patina, minor brittleness, small tears and edge wear on the front and back covers, slight staining, and general evidence of handling characteristic of newpapers placed in circulation nearly 40 years ago. It will be shipped flat in highly protective materials. Please see attached photos for condition detail and contact us for any clarifications or information prior to bidding. We have done our best to reveal the material condition of the offered item(s) in required detail.
