Just pulled from the rafters of a storage building in Central Ill. we have this great advertising sign for auction...Chickering & Sons Piano Company of Boston and New York. The sign is constructed of a heavy paper like surface on a mesh fabric. At first glance it appears to be on canvass. Sign measures approx 21 inches wide by 26 1/2 tall.

original frame. The pc. has some condition issues , cracks, tear in fabric(see picture) some stains and surface loss. The material is stable however, it was covered with a thick coat of dust and a paint brush removed most of it but no further damage or flaking to pc. Has a date of 1851...Could be restored but looks just great the way it is..Once again we are offering a pc. most would send to a high end ad auction..take advantage.
