Danbury Mint Children of the World Ornament Set. This is the complete set of twenty-five heirloom quality Christmas ornaments portraying children from around the world. Each doll is lavishly outfitted, artfully crafted in fine bisque porcelain, and delicately painted by hand. The Children of the World Ornaments collection was a Danbury Mint exclusive and was produced around 1988. Also included is the original box for storage, and the Certificate of Registration. Orignal issue price was $19.95 plus $2 s/h EACH!! Dolls include: Gretal from Holland; Liesel from Switzerland; Ingrid from Germany; Chi-Lin fron China;, Katrina from Russia; Meghan from Ireland; Brigitte from France; Dincan from Scotland; Helena from Denmark; Carlos from Spain; Anita from Argentina; Hassa from Saudi-Arabia; Soonhee from Korea; Jenny from USA; Nicholas from Greece; Chandra from India; Hanya from India; Greta from Norway; Hans from Austria; Nefertari from Egypt; Kiska from Canada; Akiko from Japan; Sansri from Thailand; Frederica from Bavaria; and Maria from Hungary. These dolls are mint, and I dont believe they have ever been displayed. My pictures do not do these dolls justice. One of the pics is a closer shot of a few of them.
