Vintage toy stove set. Enamel & tin. All the implements & in the original box. This has to be a rare toy. It's from the period when little girls were initiated into the mysteries of cooking at an early age. The box is superb with great graphics. It's marked: MFZ. There is a hallmark, foxhead, with the name "Fuchs". The box is also marked: 1/12 DTZ & a long serial number. The toy was made in Western Germany for B. Altman Co. The box is 9" by 7" by 8" & it is in superb condition for its age. The toy is 11 1/2" tall, 8 1/2" wide & 6" deep. Colors are antique white, red enamels & grey tin. All the doors & drawers work & all the implements shown in the picture on the box are persent. The colors are vibrant & the patina of the years is remarkable. A museum toy. I don't believe you'll ever see another one & in such excellent & complete condition. A super gift! NO RESERVE. 1) Please contact us before bidding if you have less than 20 feedbacks.
