Childs Antique Beaded Purse The body of the purse is 4 and 1/4 inches long, without the fringe and 3 inches across at the widest point. It has a metal frame that is made somewhat crudely with designs etched into it. The metal looks like pewter, but I really do not know. The glass beads are a chartreuse baguettes style that are crochet into the material. The fringe is about 2 inches long with a large tear drop shaped bead at the very end. The glass beads used are beautiful with an opalescent quality threw the green. The lining is satin and intact and there is a satin rosette on the front of the purse with white sequins in a floral arrangement in the middle. The handle is a metal chain. It is 7 inches long.
