The spine and staples are tight, t are very tiny staple tears but the cover is still firmly attached. The spine has some small stress lines as well as a little vertical stress in the center area. The spine has no splits, it does have a small spot of wear at the top, and a tiny bindery type nick out of the bottom. The lower spine also has a small area w t is no color - it could be a surface color flake but it looks and feels more like a printing mistake w color just didn't get applied. The front cover has nice color and still has decent gloss, the top edge has a little stress and wear along it, the top right corner has a very light 3/4 inch stress type crease - it's hardly even a crease, the right edge has a moderately light 1 3/8 inches stress line, the right edge also has two tiny tears that measure 1/16 inch and 3/16 inch, the lower right corner has a light 1 1/4 inches crease, and the lower edge has a moderately light 1 3/8 inches stress line not far from the spine. The back cover is slightly off white, t is a small amount of some tiny and fairly light foxing spots, the top edge has a tiny 3/32 inch tear, the top left corner has two small creases that measure 1/4 inch and 5/8 inch, the left edge has a 3/4 inch tear, the left edge also has two small tears that measure 3/32 inch and 1/4 inch as well as a long but fairly light stress line coming from the edge, the lower left corner area has a long but very light stress line/crease, and the lower edge has a small 5/16 inch tear. The pages have no brittleness, one small margin tear noticed, and the centerfold is firmly attached at both staples. This fairly scarce issue features a super classic cover by Matt Fox, and story adaptions of Edgar Allen Poe and Sir Walter Scott. All comics are very strictly graded and are complete with all pages and no coupons cut unless otherwise noted. Any restoration will be noted to the best of my ability to detect it. I use Overstreet standards, examples from CGC, and my own experience in over 30 years of being a fanatical collector. Interior defects as well as page whiteness level are considered in the overall grade.Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. I will respond with an answer as soon as possible.
