CHILMARK PEWTER J.E.B. STUART CSA FIGURINE. It is from the LEADERS OF GETTYSBURG collection. He was flamboyant as the signature ostrich plume that graced his famous hat. “JEB” Stuart was a knight in shining armor, reminiscent of a time when noblemen were the military leaders. JEB Stuart was the epitome of the proud and jaunty horseman. With his yellow sash, high boots and the signature ostrich plume in his hat, he stood out among even the most flamboyant cavalrymen. Stuart established himself as a brilliant tactician early in the war logging many successful reconnaissance missions around and behind enemy lines. It is #644 in a limited edition of only 1,200 pieces! This GETTYSBURG limited edition is highly desirable by serious collectors. It was sculpted by FRANCIS J. BARNUM and it is accurate in every detail and was handcast and handcrafted in fine pewter by Hudson Creek in USA. It is Chilmark #8275. What character in his facial details. Chilmark really captured his essence! This is the quality that made Chilmark so respected. The figurine is mounted on a wooden base that measures 4” in diameter.
