A fine Floor porcelain vase painted with overglaze enamels in shades of green, pink, black and red with a scene depicting women and playing children in the garden. T he clothing is painted with some care; each has dress of different colors with detailed design. It has been only in last twenty years that many people have come to realize that the figures seen on most Chinese porcelain are usually, if not always, part of some scene that tells a story, and the story is quite often of some symbolic significance. There are Chinese symbols on the other side of the vase. The Certificate of Antiquity is included. Republic Period ( 1911 – 1949 ) Measurements: Height 58 cm ; Rim Diameter 20 cm Body Diameter 22 cm; Bottom Diameter 16 cm In very good condition with no cracks or restorations but the minor chip on the left handle ( please refer to the pictures ).
