offered for auction is a incredibly detailed brass or bronze censor (would also be a great stash box). chinee or tibetan in style, i know nothing about it- could have been made recently, or it could be a valuable antique- i haven't a clue. the detail is so intricate and precise, it makes me think it came from a modern mold, but the dragon finial and the wing like handles on the side are secured to box body with primitive nails through slots, so that makes me think it's pretty old. winning bidder might get lucky on this one- i recently sold what i thought was a 1950's brass chinese chippendale box that turned out to be a 1780's colonial tobacco caddy worth a great deal more- it could happen again! box is in great condition with excellent patina. it's quite heavy for it's size, and measures about 8 1/2 wide by 6 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" deep. no reserve. thanks for looking- please read our shipping info beforebidding.

flat rate of $15.00 domestic continental 48 shipping (insured).
please allow 30 days handling time for all shipments (yes, you read it right- 30 days - we have a busy design practice and travel frequently, so we often can't ship any faster). in return for our horribly slow shipping time, we provide safe and secure packaging so you get your purchase in undamaged, as described condition. wouldn't you rather wait a little longer for a truly great item than get a box of broken junk in a hurry? we thought so. sorry, we do not ship internationally.
shipping, when offered, is quoted at a flat rate so you know exactly the total amount you are actually bidding on an item- no surprises. if we can safely combine multiple purchases for shipping, we are happy to do so. if you use buy-it-now and plan to pick item up in person and pay shipping on your invoice, we will refund the shipping cost either via paypal or with cash at pick-up- whichever is the buyer's preference. PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH OUR SHIPPING LEAD TIME- we'll all just be frustrated if you are expecting faster shipping than we are able to provide.
more stuff:
all sales are final- don't worry though, everything is as described (most people think better than described as we try to note any and all flaws, no matter how minor). you'll love your purchase- really!
please ask any questions before the close of the auction, and don't panic if it takes a day or so for us to respond- sometimes we are away from home with no internet access but try to check in at least every 48 hours. all of our items are vintage, unless noted, so expect a little wear and tear. if you want something to look brand new, we suggest design within reach. old electric stuff should be checked by an electrician.
we like people to see our items in person, and we have lots more stuff for sale that isn't listed on ebay. please call first, though- we are not a storefront with regular hours.
ebay should be fun- we are nice and expect you to be too! don't bid and then not pay- not nice! (we hate to leave negative feedback, but we will if we have too!)
