wonderful miniature bronze black cloisonne cup and saucer decorated with crossed american and chinese flags, the american flag having 12 stars and the chinese flag is triangular and has a dragon chasing a ball on it; ca 1890 cup and saucer are unmarked cup measures approximately 1 7/8" in diameter at top opening and approximately 1 1/4" tall, saucer measures approximately 2 3/4" in diameter cup and saucer have crazing to blue enamel on inside of cup and on bottoms, small hole in enamel on bottom of cup (original to piece), no dents or losses, some spots of spattered white paint on surface; basically both pieces are in very nice condition and the decoration is very rare and unusual
