It has a porcelain muti colored arch top dial with roman numerals, and numerous multicolored designs. The chapter ring on the dial face is 3 inches in diameter. It has a double chain fusee movement with crown wheel escapement, and quarter strike on two cast bells. The pendulum in the back swings so you can see it through the back door glass. Also, you can see the intricate engraved back plate. It has beveled glass in the front and back doors. I purchased this clock in china over 35 years ago in one of my first visits. It has been in my personal collection for all these years, and this is the first time it has been advertised to sell. It was one of my favorite chinese bracket clocks, since it is a brass case, and they are very rare, even in china. If you are a true collector, then this clock is a great one for your collection, especially, if you collect chinese artifacts.
