POSTCARD SIZES
All sizes given are approximate, with some exceptions there are 2 main sizes:
Approx 5.5" x 3.5" (approx 14 x 9 cm), mostly older cards, generally pre-1960's.
Approx 6" x 4" (approx 15 x 10 cm), sometimes called 'modern' or 'continental' size.
You can distinguish between these two sizes by looking at the aspect ratio.
If sizes are significantly different or oversize I will usually say so, if in doubt please ask.
PICTURES
are hosted on my own web space and can be removed at any time
after the auction - so if you want a permanent record of what you have bid on
please feel free to copy the picture/s from this page - I do not keep copies of them.
I often provide enlarged scans, especially of RPs. You are welcome to copy these for your own use.
(Right-..' - don't forget where you save it!)
Note also that I often scan cards at different dpi within the same lot depending upon what I want to emphasise.

Colours & contrast may appear different on different monitors, also, two people may
perceive the same colour differently - I do my best when scanning but please bear this in mind.
The small or cropped picture that may appear in eBay search results, or at the top of this page,
is sometimes colour balanced (by me) to make it more clear in the listings, all other scans are 'as is' ,
- except for some cropped enlargements that I may enhance to make clearer.
These other enlargements within the listing, if present, are there to provide more detail.
The picture hosted by eBay is sometimes a cropped enlargement from one of the cards below.
I hope this is clear!
