Circa 1800-1820 Chinese Export Nanking Tea Caddy with Cover. Tea Caddies with covers are RARE and Hard To Find. This is a typical form of a tea caddy that was made for the export trade. Nanking was made for the English Market. The English liked to have their wares decorated in gold and this is no exception. Very heavily gilded including the neck and the finial. Good Condition and Very Good Quality. This tea caddy measures almost 5 1/2" to the top of the finial. The sides measure 3 1/2" X 1 5/8
