Chinese Export Cabbage Leaf Round Tea Pot Charlie's Garden & Collectibles Antique to Unique - Rarities and Collectibles Designer Exclusives and Hard to Find Items Antiques, Art and Collectibles Chinese Export Cabbage Leaf Round Tea Pot w/wrapped handles 102006 This is an absolutely beautiful Chinese Export Cabbage Leaf Round or Barrel Shaped Teapot / Tea Pot with fiber wrapped handles. Believed to be 19th Century. This lovely teapot /tea pot is in very good condition. It measures approximately 5 1/2" Tall x 5 1/2" across - from outer tip of handle to outer tip of spout and the base is 4" in diameter. T are a few enamel chips that are identified by red arrows in the photos below. T is also a larger chip to the porcelain on the top rim that is also identified. T are a couple of areas that we originally thought were small enamel chips but under closer observation they are actually slight flaws in the manufacturing. Somehow this teapot and a few other items were overlooked by the estate appraiser so without an appraised description, we are dating this piece based on the other items that have been in this estate which have been late 18th Century through late 19th century. The family has also elected to place this item up for auction with a low opening bid and No Reserve. This creamer comes from the contents of a rather old estate
