is a great opportunity to add a wonderful example of Chinese export porcelain to your collection at a fraction of the price of a perfect piece. It is a plate with reddish orange and gold borders, panels of flying birds and insects, and smaller round panels of flowers. The center is a flying phoenix with oval body made for monogram (no monogram present). Diameter 7 7/8". T are three edge chips. One is 3/4" x 1/8"; one is 1/2" x 1/8"; and one is a flake 1/2" long that is more a roughness than a chip because t is no measurable width to the flake. Certainly worthy of professional repair, though I have chosen to sell it "as is". No markings on back, and has the usual small pit like imperfections as is typical of very early 19th century Chinese porcelain. Relatively thin. Shipping and insurance $6.50 International buyers pay actual shipping charge. Email with any questions. Good luck.
