Lovely late 18th C. Chinese Export shallow bowl with blue borders and a landscape scene inside. 10" across by 2" deep. This would have been gorgeous except for the fact that is was broken in half and repaired with staples! I don't think they used any glue, as t is some movement. T is also an approx 1/2" chip out of the lower rim. The edges are cafe au lait. This would look great on a sideboard! I try to be as careful as possible in describing the items. PLEASE make sure that you have read the ENTIRE text of this message BEFORE bidding. Also, I will not post feedback until AFTER you receive the item and TALK to me if t are any issues. Please ask any questions before bidding. Winner pays postage and insurance, and agrees to pay within 3 days of end of auction. With the new increases in Postal Rates and Insurance, I will strongly suggest insurance, but not require it. Be aware that I will not be responsible for items shipped without insurance.
