Chinese Export Early Blue White Porcelain Warming Dish

I just purchased this Chinese Export warming dish from a local estate in Central Virginia . I found this piece and an identical mate at a renowned local estate in the hunt country outside of Charlottesville , VA. The piece has a traditional form with recessed central bowl and shelf ring on the top and bottom surfaces. The blue and white decoration is nicely done showing rich color and fine detail to the stylized floral medallions (the color is off in the pics, the decoration is more cobalt and less royal blue). The surface glaze shows typical pinpoint pitting, and small superficial inclusions / kiln frit (the largest about pinhead, the smallest pinpoint). The dish measures 10 5/8" wide at the pouring spouts, 9 5/8" in diameter and 2 1/8" high. The piece is in excellent condition with no damage, t is surface wear to the top glaze from stacking dishes. This handsome blue decorated warming dish would make a nice addition to any collection of vintage Chinese Export porcelains. (Please check my other auctions for the mate.)

In order to provide you a variety of shipping options, please do not use eBay checkout, UNTIL AFTER I HAVE CONTACTED YOU. I will email you following the close of the auction (within three days), with shipping and payment options. I will provide the real shipping costs provided by the USPS. Insurance is paid by the buyer and items sent without insurance are done so at the buyer's risk. If you do not purchase insurance you bear full responsibility for loss or damage to the parcel in transit. I do not charge any additional handling or materials fees.

Payment must be received within ten days following the close of the auction. I accept personal checks (with appropriate ebay postive feedback) and money orders. I WILL SHIP PARCELS WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF THE PAYMENT DATE, PLEASE DO NOT ANTICIPATE IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT. I typically expedite quite quickly, but based on a few experiences, my policy is the parcel will leave within a week of payment.

All Sales are Final unless t is SIGNIFICANT POST PRODUCTION DAMAGE which is not disclosed in the description or photographs. I DO NOT accept returns for production flaws or normal wear under any circumstances. You may return the item within 3 days of receipt for a refund if we agree t is a discrepancy. I will not refund shipping charges. I have tried to accurately describe the item but am not an expert and highly recommend interested bidders ask any questions or request additional photographs to make their own evaluation of the piece.
