Chinese Rose Famille Large Vase Probably 19th century.Porcelain vase features hand painted scenes from daily Oriental life, highlighted with relief lizards and gilded Foo Dogs. The piece is unmarked and unsigned. T is one very small chip on the edge of the rim (see photo). This chip has had some restoration work done to it at some point, i.e. it appears to have had some kind of filler applied and a flower painted over that. (Of course, the flower is only seen if the vase is turned upside down or if it is placed on a tall shelf w one has to look up at it.) No other chips Measures 14" high. Please ask any questions prior to end of auction as all sales are final. Buyer pays postage and insurance, and payment via Check, Money Order, or Paypal is expected within 10 days. Insurance is required and will be added to invoice based on final selling price of item.
