DESCRIPTION Fine Chinese Export Porcelain Pitcher or Jug. Barrel Form with Celery Handle and prominent pads. 22 pouring holes behind spout. Hand Painted Design executed in Cobalt, Burgundy and Gold. On opposing sides is monogram CW or CWR with Wedding Birds and drapes. Top trim is stars on cobalt above red swags with gold tassels. Provenance NOT Identified. However, pitcher is from same collection as Teapot I recently sold, which was from W. P. Harbeson. IDENTIFICATION None DIMENSIONS Height : about 8" Top Measurement across Body: 7 1/2" from edge of handle to tip of spout Bottom Diameter : 4 1/4" CONDITION Several issues to report . Jug Handle and edge of Spout have been obviously restored; repairs are early. In addition t are spider cracks below the spout and to the side of one monogram (see photos)Polychrome is nearly complete, with some wear to gold. Interior is clean. Body is solid.
