Chinese Export Porcelain Bird & Butterfly Square Dish Presented is a beautiful, Chinese export porcelain square dish with raised sides from the 1860s. This piece is in a classic Bird & Butterfly or Rose Mandarin pattern. The bottom is painted with a traditional genre scene and the sides are painted with colorful birds, butterflies and flowers. This piece is in very good shape. Some of the enamel/ paint has flaked off, especially on the bottom, as you can see in the photos below. There are no chips, no cracks, no splits and no repairs.
