Rare Chinese Export Porcelain Iron Red Gilt Dragon Plate Up for sale is a fine quality Chinese export porcelain famille rose plate. What makes this plate unique and rare is the central decoration of two different styles of dragons. The decoration of this plate is among the finest we have ever seen: in the center is a dragon with its head facing front and it is surrounded by three flying dragons. All dragon images were surrounded by numerous dragon pearls and clouds. The plate was richly gilt to the details as well as the rim which makes it even extraordinary. It is dated circa Qing Dynasty (1644-1911AD). The plate measures about 5 14/16 inches in diameter.
