Chinese Export Rose Medallion Razor Box This is an excellent example of a 19th century Rose Medallion Razor Box. The under coating is a gold gilded surface which has worn thin on the top piece (the piece that is handled the most). Both top and bottom are matched not married (a common problem with many of these boxes). T is some production fritting on the interior of the box and a curious bump (see picture) on the side of the box. Other than that, this box is in extraordinary condition with no chips, cracks or repairs . The deminsions are 7 7/8 inches long, 3 ½ inches wide, and 2 ½ inches tall.
