Chinese round melon shaped ginger jar. Painted with bird on a flowering branch, large flowers, writing on the back, also on the lid. Qing period, late 18th to early 19th century. The final on the lid has some glaze chips, the rim of the lid has a small chip, tiny chip on opening of the jar, otherwise good condition and rare jar. Comes with old wooden stand.
