Here`s a nice vintage hand made Chinese censer. It features a gourd-shaped bowl on three animal legs with elephant handles and kylin finial playing with a ball of yarn. The lid is carved through the cat`s ball to release smoke or scents. The censer has its own carved integrated amber base , but also comes with 1 1/8" high one of carved hardwood. The amber object floresces under a black light and weighs 12 ounces. The vase with lid measures 6 1/4" high X 4 1/2" long X 3" wide. It`s in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
