A fantastic carved rosewood/root wood figure of what I believe is an Oriental Warrior God or Goddess. This figure is beautifully carved with exceptional attention to detail, showing form and movement, with five sets of eyes (possibly bone) inset into the armour. In very good condition with only one small chip to the rear of the base, the tips of the wing poles have been rubbed and I think the figure would have originally held a weapon in its right hand. Stands approx' 10.5 inches high (27cms) & weighs approx' 630grams. Please see photos for quality & condition. Payment required within five days of auction end, thankyou.
