CHINESE OR JAPANESE FIGHTING KNIFE OR DAGGER. Believe this is WWII vintage as it came with several other war souvenirs from the period. Overall length is 14 1/2" with a 10" double edged blade. Wood handle with twisted wire wrap encased by brass ornamental cover. Metal scabbard with matching design on upper and lower fittings. . Blade has some surface rust on about 2" of tip and 1/2" at hilt. Scabbard has two dents on one side that look like they were made by a blade - possibly to silence the knife in the scabbard. No markings.
