Offered is a fine Chinese pale yellow glazed porcelain bulbous vase with rather tall neck with white slip decoration of the three noble plants of bamboo, prunus and chrysanthemum. The vase stands 13 3/4" tall with 7 3/4" diameter (roughly 35cm x 19.50cm). The bottom is stamped with a four-character Chien-lung mark in underglaze blue. The unglazed foot ring appears black washed. The vase is rather heavily potted as it weighs almost 6 pounds. The soft, opaque yellow glaze is best decribed as the color of chicken fat. The hue is in deed quite attractive. Condition wise, t is a pin hole on one side of the vase's body (hidden among the petals of the affected chrysanthemum) and two tiny black spots on the everted rim. Other than that, the vase is in excellent shape. Age wise, it is dated to the early 1900s period. Domestic shipping is $20 inclusive of priority postage, insurance and handling charge. International shipping is $39. Many thanks for checking out this special offer. Good luck with your bidding/treasure hunting.
