Wow,another fabulous rare album from the estate of mr H.S.Llewellan.As far as im able to research,i believe he was a member of the British army and possibly could of worked at various locations of British consulates,as he has amassed many photographs from worlwide locations taken between 1913-30 in various personal albums.As he was well travelled and bearing in mind the cost of photography being expensive at the time,im assuming he must of been a wealthy gentleman.This hard- cover album entitled "camera records" measures 12 by 10",it has a total of 12 pages,bearing 26 sides of inserted photos (included inside covers) I would describe it as his personal portfolio containing in total 156 original photographs taken between 1913-15 mostly at various locations in China.The album condition is very good,there is just one cut out space which is missing a single photo.When he created the album he has attached top headed index page tags explaining in writing where and of what photos are taken from. He has also written under a lot of them on each page.There are 3 pages where the side edges are starting to open which you may want to gently tippex to keep sealed.(Ive left it for the buyer to decide).I have looked at the reverse of some of the photos displayed on these pages and a lot from his other albums and found that he has written the title, read more
