A non reserve auction for a lovely Chinese polychrome enamelled porcelain lamp base/vase of cylindrical form hand decorated with an old, knarled looking peach tree with its nocturnal bloom under full moon. The opposite side of the lamp base/vase is decorated with a poem with the artist's red seal. Dimensions: 11 1/4" tall x 4 7/8" diameter (approximately corresponding to 28,50cm x 12,50cm). Condition: Except for the kiln-made hole and wear of the gold trim on the rim, the vase/lamp base is in fine condition. Age: The vase dates to the early 1900s period.
