BEAUTIFULLY HAND CARVED WITH CLAW FEET

This is one of most ornate handcarved chairs of its kind. As per the books, this chair is circa.1890 and has an estimated value between $1,200-$1,800. I have little to no personal history of this chair. The chair is rosewood and is absolutely beautiful. Their are dragons and birds with flowers. The chair is very heavy, approx. 40lbs. About a week ago, t was an ebay live auction that sold a similar chair for $1,400 although it had wheel coasters on it, not clawed feet. Please look at the second picture, right under the 09 date, t is a 1 1/2" repair needed on the ornate back support that comes off the seat on the left side. This is the ONLY area of concern, the entire chair is solid and perfect. As a result of this small/minor work needed, I'm listing the chair with a no reserve auction and a starting price thats 60% of its estimated value. I believe the repair could be completed for well under $200.00. I will ship the chair within 2 days of receiving the money order payment, I CANNOT ACCEPT PAYPAL AT THIS TIME, please do not attempt to use paypal or the payment will be forfitted.
