OLD CHINESE SILVER BULLION COIN Tibetan/Chinese Silver Bullion Coin, 4.27 Troy Ounces **SAME DAY SHIPPING** An Unknown period, Decorative Chinese Silver Bar, weight 133 grams This auction is for a Chinese decorative Silver Coin of unknown age. The Coin bears images from Chinese Mythology on the face, while the reverse is engraved with designs from the Chinese Zodiac. Although I cannot determine the exact silver content or purity of these bars, they are made from a combination of Silver, Copper-Nickel Alloy and Zinc, a combination roughly similar to that used in the 1965-1969 U.S. Silver half dollar. Overall, this Coin has a very nice feel with the impression of being quite old. CHINESE SILVER BULLION BARS Chinese Silver Art Bars are valuable collectors pieces. Typically these bars are made from a blend of Silver/Copper-Nickel/Zinc alloy known as Tibetan Silver. These extremely handsome coins were at one time used as the basic form of currency in Tibet, each wrought by skilled smiths and artisans who literally produced hundreds of different styles and designs.
