This is a truly fantastic piece of antique history that has been owned by my parents for 31 years. Hi-res photos here https:///107141258616818896598/WanhHingBowl# It was purchased from a public auction on 13th/14th July 1982 at Knowle Hall in the West Midlands and was owned by Horace G Everitt the last real squire of Knowle. /title/by-direction-of-the-executors-of-horace-g-everitt-knowle-hall-knowle-solihull-west-midlands-the-contents-including-ceramics-and-glassware-silver-and-plated-wares-marbles-books-paintings-watercolours-prints-guns-medals-militaria-furniture-objects-and-effects-which-will-be-sold-by-public-auction-on-the-premises-on-tuesday-and-wednesday-13th-and-14th-july-1982/oclc/122558810 It is in absolutely mint condition and even comes with its original box though some of the inner cardboard packaging is damaged. The detail is truly something to behold and I can see why work by Wang Hing is so popular. The silver bowl on its own weights in at approximately 946 grams has a diameter of 245mm and stands 153mm high. This is a UK auction I do not want to ship abroad, I will NOT except paypal (even tho ebay force me to offer it), payment must be by Postal order/Bankers draft or cash on collection which is my preferred option as its a very fragile item to trust to a delivery company. Viewing is welcome.
