A finely carved footed soapstone incense burner late 19th or early 20th c. with birds and foliage - measures 4 inches across and 2 1/4 inches tall - it has 2 small nicks in the stone one to the lower platform edge and the other to the tips of one of the flowers - the interior of the burner is charred - the soapstone is red veined and a really interesting color contrast.
