Description: This is an antique third rank ladies peacock civil rank badge. The badge dates to circa 1890 during the Ching Dynasty. This badge would have been worn on a pufu over a Chi-fu or dragon robe at court. The front of badge is embroidered in couched metallic threads and with silk satin stitching. The badge has been reframed due to worn border as noted in the pictures. The main body of the badge is in good condition and would make a great addition to anyone's collection!
