Chinese White Lacquer Box Usually you see this type of box in the red cinnabar color and rarely white. This white lacquer box has a beautiful court garden scene with three Chinese men under a pine tree. The box is marked on the bottom CHINA so it was probably exported in the late 1800's or very early 1900's. In excellent condition for being about 100 years old. T is some minor white lacquer loss on the inside edges and corners as you can see in picture #3. T is also some crazing around the edges and corners of the boxes bottom (picture #4). The dimensions are 5-1/2" wide, 3-3/4" deep, and 1-5/8" high. For more Asian and Chinese antiques and artifacts please visit our other Ebay store at antiquitiesplus1952.
