Beautiful chintz tea set, featuring a lovely tray , teapot , creamer and sugar , in a purple pattern featuring pansys and violets. Made from the finest of bone china, this is a stunning set indeed, trimmed in gold at the rim, handle and spout of each piece. The tray is beautifully scalloped with gold trim. Tray is 8" x 10 1/2". Teapot is 7" tall. Creamer is 3 1/2" tall. Lidded sugar is 3 3/4" tall. It is so RARE to find a teaset that has a tray included, this set will display beautifully and is simply exquisite in every way. All pieces are in mint condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Unmarked and of unknown vintage, I would date this to the last half of the 20th c.
