This really would make a sumptuous addition to any games or sitting or dining room.Of course you can play all manner of other games on it like draughts, or whatever else takes your fancy! This is the great thing about this piece, it's flexibility. Throw a dining cloth over it and you have a cosy and intimate dining table for two. The levels of workmanship that goes into something like this are outstanding, details like the hand carved banding to the bottom of the table. The games top slides out to reveal the storage space underneath the games surface. With the 4 opening drawers t is ample storage space and the drawer pulls and other fixtures are in brass. The piece stands on the characteristic ball and claw feet. This piece has just benefitted from a repolish at the restorers which has really bought the veneer out to the mahogany a treat. The piece is offered in perfect condition and ready for home use right away. It is solid and study and built to last and will hence serve you for many generations thus making a great investment.
