Up for bids today is a Native American Indian (either Cree or Chippewa) full grove stone maul skull crusher axe head. Made of granite. T are traces of a rusty color stain streak (blood?) as well as small areas of fllaked green & red paint (see photos) and it HAS BEEN USED! I bought this from a retired RCMP officer who was stationed all over western Canada. And his father was also in the Northwest Mounted Police from the early 1900's to around 1920. Both Mounties spent years in the back country of Alberta and British Columbia. Measures about 5" by 4" wide. Weighs 3 lbs.
