Principle Actors : John Wayne Year Issued : 1970 Condition : Fine, right border has edge bumps and tears that can be matted out when framed. (check Condition Guide below for more details) All Posters have been stored flat for years and will be shipped rolled. Poster Size : 20" by 28.5" Authentic Japanese One Sheet. Shipping : Combine up to four Posters and pay only one shipping fee . For larger or foreign orders you may request or wait for a revised invoice to be sent. Shipping cost includes a new, premium tube. US orders ship Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Foreign orders can be sent by Air Letter Post or Global Priority Mail if available. Express and Insured Mail are also available. Photo Notes : Round magnets visible in the photo were used to hold the poster on the corners in case you were wondering, I know someone will email and ask about it! I take the best pictures possible, posters always look sharper when viewed in person. Hot spots are due to the lighting and are most apparent on darker or shiny posters. Condition Guide : Posters are stored flat and will be shipped rolled. NM = Near Mint - May have only slight wear visible upon closer inspection, NO tack holes or folds, looks never used. EX = Excellent - Above average condition, NO tack holes or creased folds, may have a minor crinkle, small tear or edge bump, these are generally from handling or storage, appears unused. Fine - A very pleasing poster well cared for that displays great. Has typical wear from original theater display. This may comprise of tack holes, folds, small tears or edge bumps that are common to this grade. A majority will fall into this category, especially older issues. VG = Very Good - A presentable image that could have any combination of the following conditions but not necessarily all: Tack hole tears (occasionally a corner could be missing, see photo for reference) fold separations, ocassionally some tape (mostly on back) or tape tears on front, slight fading, a spot or stain. Edge wear or tears are most common. Many of these could be touched up or hidden when matted and framed. Most always will look & display fine. Some additional information on Japanese Movie Posters I have been an avid collector of Japanese Movie Posters since I stumbled across them on my first trip to Japan in 1992. The vast majority, especially those before 1980, have totally unique designs and striking graphics in comparison to one sheets from other countries. No doubt, you to have discovered how exciting and different the art work can be! In regard to dating Japanese Movie Posters. An official release of a film in Japan could be years later than the originating country of that film. Generally, the earlier the film, the more likely the original Japanese release date could be many years later. Popular films could be released several times over many years resulting in even more poster designs to chose from. In addition most films had at least two totally different designs, so be on the lookout for both versions! I have made many friends and contacts over the years in Japan that allow me to share so many titles with you. As the years roll on, it is becoming increasingly harder to find and offer these at current prices.
