This is a beautiful, unique, hand-made elbow basket created by the Mississippi band of Choctaw Indians in Philadelphia MS. The Choctaw Indians are one of the largest, most influential Native American Indian tribes east of the Mississippi. For many decades, Choctaw basket makers have woven works of art from the river cane that thrive along Mississippi creek banks. It is in the natural cane color and shows intricate work by the artist. This basket stands approx 15 inches and is approx. 12 1/2 inches at the widest part. The openings are approx. and 4 3/4 inches in diameter. In excellent condition, very strong and sturdy, this basket will make a perfect addition to any collection. Will ship within 2 days of payment recieved. Only accept paypal.
