From chintzwares original beginnings in tiny English Hamlet many years ago, cherished old world chintz is now being produced a century later in another small Eastern European town tucked quietly away in northern Romania. Romanian chintz makers still size and cut each of the patterns by hand. Each piece is carefully hand wrapped with beautiful delicate new vintage floral transfers, and then carefully hand painted with lovely gold accents.
