This first edition "Christmas Village Railroad" was limited to only 1500 sets in 1994. The 1995 production was totally different, making this set a true collectible. Imported from Germany and built by the master craftsman at Fleischmann, fine model makers for over a 100 years. Unlike most other model trains, which are either too big or too small for your village, this railroad was scaled to perfectly compliment most buildings and accessories of the Heritage Village collection. Includes high quality track designed to run quietly and lock together to insure your train will stay on the track. In addition, the track also has a solid base, which helps keep the village "snow" away from the wheels of the train. A true collectors item!! It has its original box and all original packaging.
