Each exquisite piece has absolutely gorgeous form, greatest proportion and a very beautiful elegant design. The pattern has exceptionally well crafted decoration. The shape is lovely. No monogram. The set consists of 12 Forks: - EACH measures 7.5" in length 12 Knifes: - EACH measures 9" in length Absolutely marvelous SET is GUARANTEED 100% AUTHENTIC. All pieces do show use scratching and wear but t appear to be no dents. The present color patina that has developed is a combination of the original and of natural age/exposure which results in a slow darkening over time. I am assuming this can easily be cleaned off, but I have made no attempt to do so for fear of devaluing the item. The set came from a big collection of flatware from an estate sale in Washington DC .
