For sale is the above watch. Purchased this week from Ebay - item number 111403775670 £200. I have worn the watch once after fitting the new battery. Having purchased the watch, I have discovered that it does not have sufficient contrast between the hands and face of the watch due to my failing eyesight. Sure it will be fine for anyone with normal vision. The watch is fitted with the more expensive ETA 252.272 movement fitted to watches 3 times the price. In fitting the new battery, my caseback tool broke, and has scratched the back of the watch - the case/sapphire itself is untouched. I have taken several photos to be clear. The scratches are surface and will polish out. I can't be bothered to remove the back again - lesson 1 remove the leather strap first. The easiest way is either to undertake yourself or take the back only into a jewellers. If I could read the watch I would keep the way it is and save my money - or sit for an hour with polishing paste. You can imagine how p****d off I feel, and have accordingly reduced the price to reflect the scratches. Watch originally purchased in Jan 2011 so has a warranty until Jan 2016 on the movement.
