This is an immediately available, Buy It Now listing for one vintage 1960s Japan made AMD single channel (monaural) phono* preamp* with one vintage 12AX7 tube. The 12AX7 is a rare Hitachi long black plate type, that tests weak, but okay, and works fine. This cute, chrome plated Phono-Tape Head preamp is also working fine. The phono preamp circuit is stock, as originally designed for Variable Reluctance type phono* cartridges, like GE's RPX and VR-II mono cartridges. (No cartridges are included). The Tape Head circuit is also stock original. Working voltages are as expected for this type of phono-tape head preamplifier. Cosmetically, this almost 3 1/2 inch square unit is in fair condition with some scratches, scuffs, oxidation and surface pitting, as you can see in the pictures. It is still attractive looking for a forty five year old tube preamp. The underneath picture shows the nice craftsmanship and workmanship that was available from Japan. This is a working vintage tube preamp; that should be used on a 110V to 117V AC power line.. This vintage electronics record player turntable preamp* item will be packed very carefully for secure arrival. Good Luck Buying/Bidding !Please read this entire item read more
