Hamilton Model22 Chronometer Watch. Navy# 1199 CA1941. 21 jewels. All numbers match, including number plate on box. Movement number 2F3322. Box has been modified to two tier rather than three. Second tier has been lowered to remove hinge, latch and slide depressions, thus the second tier top is smooth and glass covered. Makes for an excellent display piece. Considered by many to be the finest watch movement ever made. Keeping excellent time. Includes rating certificate from 27 March 1969 indicating watch was losing five tenths of a second per day!. Certificate, by M. Low, Inc., New York, identifies vessel as Enterprise.
