For your consideration is the following item: LIGHTED CHRYSLER WING SIGN In this auction, I am offering one of my signs from my personal collection. I will be offering several other LARGE vintage and collectible signs this week and next from my personal collection. We recently purchased a new house and I do not have the garage space that I had with my old house to display all of my signs. My loss is your gain and it really kills me to get rid of this one! This is truely a rare, once in a lifetime opportunity to own a highly prized and collectible piece of both advertising and automobile memorabilia. It measures an INCREDIBLE NINE FEET, SIX INCHES across, 18 1/2 inches high and 7 1/4 inches deep when attached to the light box! The light box is made from formed aluminum and is designed to hold three 4 foot florescent light bulbs. It runs on 110 volts (standard household current) and only draws 1.1 amps. the top of the box has clear plexiglass so that when it is mounted to the wall and lit up, it gives off an INCREIBLE glow that looks almost like a halo effect. T are holes in the back of the light box for mounting it on the wall. The sign is in beautiful condition as is the light box and it will make an incredible addition to any collection. Almost guaranteed to be the centerpiece of any collection, as it was in mine. Please note, this is a large piece and it will either have to be picked up in person or shipped by truck. I have set a $500.00 reserve on this sign which I feel is more than fair as it has a current value of at least 5 times that amount. I will also be listing a LARGE vintage (late 70s - early 80's) Dodge Pentastar lighted sign this week with a light box that can be mounted to the wall. Truely another nice Dodge collectible for any collection! I have also listed a large vintage (1954) Goodyear metal advertising sign and a HUGE!!!
