CHRYSOPRASE BRILLIANT GEM GREEN POLISHED CHALCEDONY AAA Size: 10 x 9 x 9 mm (7/16" x 3/8+" x 3/8") Total weight: 11 carats. Play of color: all natural transparent green chalcedony. A green ice mini-brick. Completely mirror polished all around. Small white alumina wisps close to the surface on faces. Some ultra tiny black manganese flecks. Look at the pics. This is great color, AAA quality chrysoprase from Marlborough Mining District in Australia. Use "as is", or cut a calibrated cab. This is the AAA quality that everyone wants, but few ever see. Superb for jewelry designs in high carat gold or silver for the discriminating collector. Excellent choice for green accent stones in any design! It is very hard to find consistant, evenly saturated, color chrysoprase. Usually the chalcedony is less transparent bordering on opague, or of inferior quality with white alumina or black spinach manganese flecks & inclusions.
