Chuck Jones Signed Production Cel from the 1965 Academy Award winning animated film The Dot and the Line Chuck Jones 1912-2002 Charles Martin "Chuck" Jones ( September 21 , 1912 - February 22 , 2002 ) was an American animator , cartoon artist , screenwriter , producer , and director of animated films, most memorably of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts for the Warner Brothers cartoon studio . He directed many of the classic short animated cartoons starring Bugs Bunny , Daffy Duck , the Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote , Pepé Le Pew and the other Warners characters, including the memorable What's Opera, Doc? ( 1957 ) and Duck Amuck ( 1952 ) (both later inducted into the National Film Registry ), establishing himself as an important innovator and storyteller. ------------ This is one of the best examples from this award winning short, it has excellent movement and is filled from side to side of the cel unlike the very few others left for sale on the market, if any are left. You will probably not find a better cel from this film available for sale. It is a 12 field cel (standard original size) comes framed and matted with acid free matting and framed with plexi not glass with the Linda Jones Enterprise hologram on the cel and the certificate of authenticity in an envelope on the back.
